Advertising Policy

Editorial Independence

All advertisements and sponsored content in JCAI are entirely independent of the editorial decision-making process. The journal does not endorse any product or service featured in advertisements, nor do advertisements influence peer review, editorial selection, or article acceptance.

Advertisement Review and Standards

JCAI reserves the right to reject or remove any advertisement that may:

  • Conflict with the journal’s values or editorial content,

  • Harm the journal’s reputation or credibility,

  • Promote products or services that are harmful to public health (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).

Accuracy and Transparency

All advertisements must be:

  • Truthful and verifiable, with no misleading or exaggerated claims,

  • Clearly labeled, including clear identification of the product, service, and advertiser.

Misleading graphics, clickbait content, or deceptive promotional tactics are not permitted.

Prohibited Content

JCAIdoes not allow advertisements that are:

  • Indecent, discriminatory, or offensive,

  • Related to political, racial, ethnic, gender, religious, or sexually explicit content.

The editorial team reserves the right to remove any advertisement that violates these guidelines without prior notice.

Targeting and Placement

  • Advertisers may not target specific articles or pages related to their products or services.

  • Contextual ad targeting based on article keywords is strictly prohibited.

  • Sponsored content must be clearly distinguishable from editorial material.

Compliance with Legal Standards

All advertisements, particularly those related to medical, pharmaceutical, or AI-related technologies, must comply with relevant international, national, or local advertising regulations.

Advertisers must provide proof of:

  • Product approval or certification, where applicable,

  • Marketing authorization and supporting documentation.

Editorial and Advertising Separation

Editorial content and advertisements will remain clearly separated at all times. Sponsored articles, supplements, or partnerships will be labeled explicitly, and any peer review processes will be transparently described.

Requests and Complaints

  • Special advertisement requests (e.g., homepage banner placements) are subject to approval by the editorial team within two business days.

  • Complaints regarding advertisements can be submitted to:
    contact@jccair.org

Advertising Oversight and Compliance

JCAIfollows the ethical standards and codes of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Advertisers are expected to comply with ethical marketing practices in AI, computing, and technology-related sectors.
