• Misconduct includes fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, citation manipulation.
• Allegations are investigated following COPE guidelines.
• Possible outcomes: no action, corrigendum, retraction, institutional notification.
• Whistleblowers are protected; confidentiality maintained.
• Records of investigations are kept for at least 5 years.
