Preprint Policy

JCAI supports open science and welcomes submissions previously shared as preprints.

Conditions:

• Preprints posted on recognized platforms (e.g., arXiv, SSRN, OSF, Research Square) are eligible for submission.
• Authors must declare the preprint in the cover letter and cite it within the manuscript, if applicable.
• The preprint version must not violate copyright or ethical standards.
• Once accepted, authors are encouraged to update the preprint with the DOI and link to the published version in JCAI.
