Publication Fee Policy

The Journal of Cognition and Artificial Intelligence (JCAI) does not charge authors any fees. There are no article processing charges (APCs), no submission fees, no page charges, and no colour charges. All articles are freely available to readers immediately upon publication.

The journal’s editorial and hosting costs are covered by the publisher, Research Wave Technologies.

If JCAI introduces publication fees in the future, the amount will be announced on this page at least six months in advance, and any change will apply only to manuscripts submitted after the announcement date. Manuscripts already under review will not be charged.
